Oi Soi Oi is Vietnamese for “goodness gracious me!”
The company was founded by Britt Goodall and Christina Thorbøll in 2007.
Britt is responsible for Oi Soi Oi designs, their production and quality control in Vietnam. She has spent much of her life in developing countries, first in Africa and for the last 12 years in Vietnam. Her Danish roots and sense of design combined with inspiration from Vietnam’s cultural surroundings sums up the unique Oi Soi Oi style.
Ultimately, Oi Soi Oi products are the result of teamwork between Britt and Christina, and where Christina adds her years of experience in strategy and marketing to run Oi Soi Oi sales from our head office in Denmark.
The corner stone of the Oi Soi Oi concept is respect for the people we work with: our customers, our suppliers in their workshops and the many more who contribute to making Oi Soi Oi a success. Oi Soi Oi products are produced in the villages around Hanoi by family-run workshops. Proud craft traditions and many hours of exacting labour are the qualities that give Oi Soi Oi products substance. This we respect and will continue to promote.
